Overview

Requirements

General and Academic
We are keen to receive applications from individuals with experience in our core services, markets and technologies - whether this experience is extensive or limited.

In all cases, we expect a solid academic background with a good degree in a numerate discipline (preferably a minimum of a 2:1); you may also have a higher degree in a relevant discipline. Fluency in one or more foreign languages would be advantageous.

We also expect demonstrable technical expertise, commensurate with the extent of your industrial experience, and evidence of continued career progression.

By choice and necessity, much of our work is client-facing. In addition to academic and technical credentials, therefore, we require excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Finally, we are a small company and typically work in small teams. We therefore seek true versatility and flexibility in our people, and expect them to take wide-ranging responsibility for their work and for the development of the company. We look for enthusiasm and a positive, 'can do' attitude. In return, we will help you develop your career by providing challenging work, and give you the opportunity to share in creating a successful business.

Security Clearance
Many of our projects are subject to UK governmental security clearance requirements. We therefore invite applications from individuals who have no impediment to gaining SC clearance (although this requirement may be waived in exceptional cases).

The Rewards

We offer rewards commensurate with ability, and recognise greater responsibility and competence through regular salary reviews.

We encourage you to take responsibility that stretches and challenges you in order to enhance your development. Career progression is based entirely upon merit, and will reflect your technical, commercial and managerial competence. Performance is reviewed regularly via a formal appraisal process.

The employment package available to all staff includes:

  • a contributory pension plan
  • profit-related bonus (plus discretionary bonus for exceptional performance)
  • private medical care for you and your family
  • flexible working arrangements
  • life assurance
  • 25 days annual holiday
