The Job

integrate provides a wide range of professional services to clients in the transport and defence sectors, and elsewhere. We work in small, multi-skilled teams in which we expect all of our staff to take on responsibility for meeting and exceeding our clients' expectations.

You will typically lead client engagements on behalf of integrate, directing the activities of other consultants and taking responsibility for client satisfaction and the quality of integrate's work. You will also be responsible for managing and developing the client relationship, ensuring that this yields maximum long term benefit to the client and to ourselves.

Our aim is always to find pragmatic solutions to real-world problems, containing complexity and maximising usability and sustainability. To achieve this requires an innovative approach, shaped by some of the best minds in the business.

The Person

In addition to a solid academic background and other general requirements we are looking for significant capability and experience in some or all of the following areas (in no particular order):

  • in-depth knowledge of one of the defence, transport and aerospace sectors
  • involvement in major, complex and business-critical projects, bringing genuine strategic insight
  • a proven record of delivery in challenging project environments
  • leading teams and managing client accounts
  • excellent communication and client-facing skills - both written and verbal
  • expertise as a practitioner in systems engineering techniques, processes and standards
  • mentoring and developing junior staff
  • expertise in the deployment and application of engineering tools such as DOORS and Matlab
